As an owner of three cats, I can confirm no cat would choose to ascend to godhood, as it would actually be a decent for them.

I like the idea of a player being in the know with the DM and playing a character that is secretly Pale Night. Might be hard to pull it off though.

My thought is to have two different cities, one dealing with mind flayers, and the other dealing with the false hydra. The goal of the campaign would be stop one or both before the false hydra gets found by the mind flayers and turned into some mind flayer/false hydra abomination of a world ender. 😱(also you could make it so that it was timed and/or dualistic. e.g. defeat the false hydra; stronger mind flayers; deal with the mind flayers; stronger false hydra.)

I know it’s been a while, but the iron poisoning lair effect gave me an idea: you could use the same effect for a vampire iron dragon but reflavor it as induced anemia

So seeing this video I'm super excited. Primarily because a character I created over a decade ago is a cosmic cat herself and seeing others bring the concept up makes me feel super validated! Am excited to see what this cat holds!
